This training is intended to be basic instruction for the servo motor technician and is designed to give a systematic approach to the inspection and testing of brushless servo motors.

The material presented is not manufacturer specific. Rather, it applies the electrical operating principals to be used on these motors from a practical standpoint for the person performing tests. These principals may be used in the testing and setting of these brushless servo motors regardless of who the manufacturer of the motor might be.

There is practically no mathematics presented. However it is assumed that the technician has previous knowledge of basic electricity, magnetism, Ohm´s law, and the use of electrical test instruments. A good understanding of standard AC and DC electric motor operation will also be of great benefit.

For maximum benefit, hands-on time will be an important part of this training seminar.
